Equity International has organized:

• The first Katrina Reconstruction Summit on Capitol Hill in September of 2005, providing a leadership forum for immediate solutions to the destruction of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
• The Gulf Coast Reconstruction Summit in Washington in April of 2006, featuring Congressman Tom Davis, Chairman of the House Government Reform Committee and former FEMA Director James Lee Witt.
• The Gulf Coast Reconstruction & Hurricane Preparedness Summit in August of 2006, featuring Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco, New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, and all federal agencies involved in the reconstruction and development of the U.S. Gulf Coast.
• The first conference on the reconstruction of Iraq, held in Washington on May 5, 2003.
• Additional conferences and briefings on rebuilding Iraq in 2003 and 2004.
• The first conference on the reconstruction of Afghanistan, convened in March of 2002.
• Following the election of President Vojislav Kostunica, the first Yugoslavia reconstruction and development conference, held in November of 2000.
• In the wake of deadly floods in Venezuela, the first Venezuelan reconstruction conference in March of 2000.
• Responding to the devastating earthquakes in Turkey, a major Turkish reconstruction conference in January of 2000.
• The first post-war reconstruction conference on Kosovo and the surrounding countries in June of 1999.
• In the aftermath of Hurricane Mitch, the first reconstruction conference on Central America in December of 1998.
• The first post-war reconstruction conference on Bosnia and Herzegovina, held in January of 1996.
